Let’s take a moment to acknowledge how far Andrew Hussie has come, and how many other comics he worked on to make it this far.
Kudos to this amazing man, who worked so hard to bring us this comic today.
Without him, I would not have a family like I do now.
Guys.
Look at how far we’ve really come.

Do you mean in storytelling, or in art style? Either way, I think you have to realize that most juvenile appearance in such things is intentional, because Hussie has worked on such mature, exquisitely crafted projects before any of these that it’s obvious this is his “MS Paint” era. If the works look awkward, glitchy, or primitive, I think it’s because he wants it that way.

Really, And It Don’t Stop is one of the most visually stunning graphic stories I have ever read. If I could buy a hard copy, I would buy three of them.

Summer Goal #5: Reread MS Paint Adventures in its entirety, back to back, in chronological order where possible.

halberdierminister:

Completed:

  1. Jailbreak
  2. Bard Quest
  3. Problem Sleuth
  4. Bonus Donation Panels for Problem Sleuth/Homestuck
  5. Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff
  6. Ryanquest

To do:

  1. Homestuck Beta
  2. Homestuck

I just realized how far I have to go.  Yikes.

Edited for further completion! Today I finished all the Problem Sleuth Unlockables, all of Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff, and Ryanquest!  Now just the Homestuck Beta, and then six entire acts of the longest webcomic in existence! Hooray!
